Welcome to Macks Studios. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Service Description
Macks Studios is a platform connecting piano students with qualified teachers. We facilitate bookings, payments, and communications but do not directly provide instruction.
2. User Accounts
To use our services, you must:
- Provide accurate, current information
- Maintain the security of your account
- Be at least 18 years old (or have parental consent)
- Comply with all applicable laws
3. Booking and Payments
When booking lessons:
- Payment is due at time of booking unless otherwise arranged
- Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance for refunds
- No-shows forfeit payment
- Teachers set their own rates and policies
4. Cancellation Policy
24-Hour Notice Required: Cancel at least 24 hours before your lesson for a full refund or reschedule. Cancellations within 24 hours may not be refunded.
5. Teacher-Student Relationship
Teachers on Macks Studios are independent contractors. We do not employ teachers or guarantee their performance. Students and teachers interact directly for lesson delivery.
6. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not:
- Circumvent the platform to avoid fees
- Harass or abuse teachers or students
- Misrepresent credentials or experience
- Violate intellectual property rights
7. Limitation of Liability
Macks Studios is not liable for disputes between teachers and students, lesson quality, injuries, or damages arising from use of the platform.
8. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
